Reason For Chest Pain And Breathlessness?

I am 16 years old and it has been about 2 years or more since I have a short breath. I always feel like I don't get enough oxygen in my lungs when I am breathing. Therefore, I have to take a very deep breath every time i breath and sometimes I have to do it over and over again. I also get tired very easily. Although I only do a little bit of work or exercise, I can lose my breath easily. And it ends up making me inhale and exhale in a fast timing (if you know what I mean). Sometimes my chest can feels hurt a little but it's rarely happen so I never talk about it. I went to a heart doctor and he said it was perfectly fine and he said I don't have asthma. So what could it be?

Do you have runny nose or allergy to dust or any cold foodstuffs?
Do you hear whistling sound during breathing when you get breathless?
Do these smptoms occur more frequently during early morning or late night?
If you can relate to any one of these then get an Xray chest and a pulmonary function test done and you should consult a chest specialist near your locality..
