Reason For Absence Of Periods Despite Taking Unwanted Kit?
Hello,
My last period date last month was from 20th Jan, and I missed my periods from 20th Feb this month, I used the pregnancy test kit and found the result negative. As I didnt have periods for 6 days post the period date, I took the mankind unwanted kit dosage on 26th 1 tablet orally and rest after 48 hours 2 orally and 2 vaginally. But I didnt have my periods yet. What may be the reason behind this.kindly help and suggest.

I am so sorry to hear about this missed periods. Not all missed periods are caused by a disease or represent a disease. I will advice that ou stop rtying drugs for unwanted pregnancy. They are dangerous and can lead to severe bleeding that can lead to death. I will suggest you patiently wait up to the date of your next expected menses and only seek further medical attention if you still fail to see your menses by then. a good proportion of missed periods are often not caused by a disease and get to return without any aggressive measures.

I understand that you had missed your periods and pregnnacy test was negative. You took unwanted and still did not have bleeding.
If the pregnancy test is done too early, it may be negative. A urine test comes positive only after 7-10 days after the missed period. Unwanted will act only if there is a pregnancy. If unwanted did not cause bleeding more than 72 hours after the first dose, then the chances that you had a pregnancy that was causing the absent periods are low.
I suggest that you look for other causes of absent periods like PCOD, ovarian cysts, hormonal imbalances. For this you will need an ultrasound examination and a blood hormone test. Stress may also cause a delay in periods, so try to be calm and do regular light exercise and meditation to decrease stress.
