Rashes Across Back, Under Arms Upto Hips, Occasionally On Face, Rarely Itch. Any Ideas?

Hi My name is Nicole Scott. Im 23 and of black caribbean ethnicity. Recently for the last few months I have noticed I have this rash that looks like scratches. It appears across my back, under my arms travelling down to me hips, sometimes on my waist and inbetween the inner part of my legs and occasionally my face. Ocassionally I do itch it but I usually just bare it and it vanishes as fast as it came... any ideas what it is?

Welcome to the forum Nnicole. Your symptoms are suggestive of skin infection that you have got recently. Do not scratch, it will dark ugly spots. It could be because of heat intolerance or sensitive skin. Also check out your mattress for any type of bugs, just clean up your wardrobe and also your room for safety sake.

It can be scabies. Scabies have a tendency to itch and spread. Before ots late get clinically examined and diagnosed. Change your clothes and wear cotton ones till you are relieved of your symptoms. Get clothes treated with antiseptic lotion/ dettol/ savlon. Avoid use of scented, harsh lotions or bath soaps. Prefer using milder medicated ones.

Local application of "scabiol" ( for scabies )below face once before bathing should cure you. If not you may require a second application after 15 days. Before application do see a local doctor. If you have any problem I am there to help you. Take care.
