Raised Sore Bruise, Purple And Yellow And White In Center. What Should Be Done?

I woke up with a big raised sore bruise a week ago. Came out of nowhere. It was very sore for few days then stopped hurting but was still ugly. Today it is much bigger than a week ago. It s purple and yellow and red buy white in center and has gone from golf ball size to baseball size. Have pics. What should I do? Let it heal or get it checked?
