Hi there,
Thanks for your query.
Persistent burping occurs in chronic stomach and intestinal infections; chronic
indigestion excessive; growth of harmful bacteria which kill the good bacteria in the intestine; swallowing of air during eating, particularly when eating rapidly without proper chewing; in the presence of
anxiety and panic attacks-to name a few.
You have not mentioned anything which points to any of the given causes.
Hence, from the available information, I will suggest that:-
* Have regular meals; eat slowly; chew food properly before swallowing; desist from conversation while eating; avoid gas producing foods, such as, beans, legumes, aerated drinks.
* Take a course of anti-H.pylori therapy in consultation with your treating doctor, along with prokinetic drug, such as metaclopamide or
itopride before each meal.
* Add Prokinetic drug such as,
Lactobacillus along with liberal amount of curd in your diet.
* If you have chronic anxiety,
depression or mental stress, anti-depressants + anti-anxiety drugs will help significantly.
Hopefully, your problems will minimize or even disappear.
