Prescribed Minoxidil For Hairloss. Should We Apply Retino-A Cream Before Applying Minoxidil?

I have a hair loss from hairline to the crown area and I am using minoxidil 5% for a month. I have read several artical to apply retino-A 0.05 % cream to scalp before applying minoxidil and by doing this you have to apply minoxidil 5% only once a day instead of twice a day. Is it a fact? If yes then How to use Retino-A daily.
Please tell me about the Biotin 5 mg capsules. Is it really helpful for hairs?
