Pregnant, Sore In Public Area While Walking. Placenta Close To Uterus, Waiting To Do Scan. Is This Pain Normal While Walking?

Hi i am 28 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child, the last few days i have been getting quite sore in the pubic/groin area only when i walk around, i am just waiting to go for another scan at 32 weeks, something about the placenta is to close to the uterus lining i think, and have to see if i will need a c section, u am just wondering if this pain when im walking around is normal or safe at this point

Hi,
If your previous sonogram had mentioned about the placental location and penetration, you should contact your consultant to report the pain as it cannot be taken easily. Otherwise, the pain could be due to the enlarging uterus pressing upon the pelvis; monitoring fetal movements also could be of help. Laxity of the abdominal wall as this is your third pregnancy also could lead to pain due to sagging effect. Please get further suggestions from your consultant. Wish you safe motherhood.
