Pregnant, Have Asthma, Taking Cipla Rotahaler Capsules. Any Sideeffects For Taking This In During Pregnancy?
hi doctor..i am 27years old of 5 3 height. my doctor told me that i am 3weeks pregnant. i have asthama problem n for this m taking cipla rotahaler capsules. so is there any sideeffects for taking this in during pregnancy. n i also want to know that is there any kind of antibiotic available in market which help me for my baby will not suffer for this kind of asthamatic problem..

hi..thanks for using HCM.. congrates.. you are asthmatic and you are using asthaline rotacaps for asthmatic attacks.. the advantage of rotahaler is very minimum systemic concentration and systemic effects.. consult your obstetrician for reducing the dose which is safer during pregnancy.. your second question.. you want to prevent the asthama in your child in future.. at this point it is not possible.. but if your child develops asthma, you may go for desensitization of the specific allergen, and there are drugs of mast cell stabilizers given over a period of time to reduce the severity of attacks .. all the very best..
