Pregnancy Scan Done. Can Any Online Doctors Help Me With This?
Hi Dr,I am Usha, now I am 28weeks+4days and there is a large fibroid 128*99*150 mms and it is on the anterior of the uterus and in today's scan, they say it is obstructing the internal os completely. And the fetal biometry are HC 247.0mm AC 217.0 mm FL 44.4 mm HC/AC 1.14 and estimated foetal weight weight 848 g. Is this normal..I Would like to get any suggestions( ie change my diet plan or something). Thanks
Hello Madam Usha, Thanks for your enquiry, You got pregnant along with a Fibroiduterus. The size of the fibroid and the Fetus size you have explained. The Fetus size and weight corresponds with the gestational age. Now the question of fibroid. It is a slow growing tumor, now obstructing the internal Os. You can continue the pregnancy and the child can be delivered by caesarean section. Periodical monitoring of the fetus and fibroma is important. you have not mentioned your height and weight. Anyhow a balanced diet + healthy weight + routine work by consulting a dietitian is advised Prior to delivery plan further management Best wishes
