Painful Period. Why Am I Bleeding Continuously Excessive? Why Has It Turned Brown?

I am going on week three of my period. I have very painful cramps the first two days and then its usually done by day seven. Currently I am going on three weeks of bleeding . It started out like a normal period and on day 7 the blood turned brown and sticky looking. Today, day 21 of bleeding it is starting to turn red again and the cramps are coming back. What could be causing this?

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
In my opinion do your urine pregnancy test which if negative get a pelvic ultrasonography and b HCG testing because it can be an early pregnancy or worse ectopic tubal pregnancy and then visit a gynecologist with reports
In case you have further questions you can consult me on health care magic forum and i will be happy to help
Dr Manisha Jain.
Take care and wish you all the best.
