Pain On Side Face, Neck, Jaw. Having Toothache, Sensitivity, Pain Near Temple, Getting Worse. Unable To Diagnose

I have been experiencing sustained pain on the right side of my face, including my gland area in the neck and primarily in my jaw.My teeth also have been bothering me. I also have been feeling sensitivity and pain by my temple. the pain in the jaw feels like a toothache or earache. the sensitivity in my gland area has been ongoing for several months. I have been to a dentist who says my xrays don't show anything unusual. my internist doesn't know what it is. I just went to a neurologist who who didn't find anything. the pain has been getting worse and has been more sustained in the past few days.

Hello,

Welcome to health care magic forum.

I have read your concern.

Since you are c/o toothache, deep caries or periodontal infection associated with tooth has to be ruled out.

Also evaluate whether there is any impacted wisdom tooth which shows Pericoronitis.

A thorough clinical as well as x-ray evaluation by a dentist will help to rule out cause of Pain in jaws, temple.

Deep carious or impacted tooth if severely infected, get it extracted.

Usually,in such cases antibiotics as well as analgesics with muscle relaxants has to be administered.

Hope this helps.
