Hello,

Joint stiffness is the characteristic and earliest symptoms of Arthritis(Inflammation of the joints).

Stiffness is due to inflammation of the Synovium.

It need an accurate diagnosis to treat it effectively.

You may need

1. X ray of the joints.

2. ERS

3. C reactive protein

4. RA factor.

Consult an orthopedician and a Rheumatologist.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Pain is in wrist, elbow , knee joint i.e.migratory joint pain.
In carpal tunnel syndrome there develops paresthesia in thumb, second, third, & radial half of the fourth finger ( thumb side ) at times atrophy of thenar musculature.
As your symptoms not related to carpal tunnel syndrome.
Consult a physician or an orthopaedician and get their opinion as in my opinion these migratory joint pain may be due to rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis.
Hope I have answered your question.
If further any question I will try to explain.
Good luck.
Dr. HET
