Pain In The Neck, Shoulder, Chest, Back. Had The Mirena Inserted . Could That Have Anything To Do With It?

i have had a sharp pain in the left side of my chest that hurts when i breathe, the sharp pain is also in the left side of my neck and my left shoulder going down left arm just a bit. I can feel the sharp pain in my upper left side of back as well. This has lasted for over eight hours now. It hurts to turn my head or move shoulder. I just had the mirena inserted two days ago, could that have anything to do with it?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Thee pain that you have describd is likely to be due to a muscular pain. This can be caused by the hormonal influence of Mirena coil that has been inserted. Mild pain killers will help you.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
