Pain In The Foot. Had A Fall In The Past. X-ray Normal. Need MRI?

I fell over 10ys ago. My right leg went under my body. Here and there I would have pain on top of right foot. No pain in the toe area. Lately everyday all day my foot hurts. Just had a xray states everything is normal. When I drive walk go up and down stairs my foot hurts. Sometimes I can't have a sheet touch my foot. Should I get a MRI??

Hello
Thanks for posting your query.
If the pain is persistantover top of your foot for long time and xray is normal, a MRI might required to reach the diagnosis.l suggest you to get it evaluated by an orthopaedic surgeon and treatment plan according to that.
Hope this will helps you.
