Pain In Right Side. No Vomiting. Appendicitis?

I keep getting occasional sharp pains In my lower right side (appendix area) it's been happening for a few weeks now, I'm 15, and it's only constant occasional pains, iv read symptoms of appendicitis by I'm not vomiting or anything, it's just a really uncomfortable cramping/pain feeling? Could this be appendicitis? If so what shall I do?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

cramping pain in right side need not always from appendix,
Get USG abdomen done to check for any kidney stones or gall bladder stones.
Your pain could be due to increased intestinal movements.
Consult your doctor for examination and management.
Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take
care.

Hello,

Subclinical Appendicitis may be a genuine cause for concern.

You need to be evaluated for the abdominal pain.

1. Erect X ray of the abdomen to rule out any perforation.

2. Ultrasound of the abdomen.

If it is appendicitis the analgesic and antibiotic are the treatment of choice it the infection subsides.

It may be operated after an antibiotic course.
