Pain In Lower Rib Area When Touched. Suggestions?

am a normal healthy girl of 20 yrs.. i sense immense pain in my lower rib region, when i touch dat area.. its like almost sumone has bruised it badly. only during touching dat region i experience pain.. its nt a muscle pain.. i nver had any injuries on my lower rib.. it has started from almost a year.. bt still the pain persists.. i hv no pain while breathing... pls tell me wht it is.... waitng for ur advise..

The pain in the lower rib area can be due to a muscle sprain or costochondritis. Most of the times such pains improve on taking mild pain killers, doing a hot fomentation and taking adequate rest.
