Hello,
Thank you for your query.
Your pain is suggestive of nerve involvement.
I recommend :
-a physician consult
- MRI of the spine to check for
disc disease and nerve compression.
-a physical exam to check for blood flow to all your extremities. If any compromise, a doppler study to rule out any blocks or an angiography of the blood vessels to check for ischemia.
- blood tests (
complete blood count, liver and kidney function tests,
lipid profile)
Based on these results and clinical findings, a treatment will be started.
In the meantime:
- avoid lifting anything heavy (more than 2kg)
- don't Bend suddenly or do any jerky movements like sudden turning.
- avoid jerky movements in the vehicles and avoid driving or sitting /standing too long. (more than 15 minutes)
-if you have any numbness or weakness in your arms or limbs, any
chest discomfort, breathing difficulty, giddiness, unexplained
profuse sweating or worsening pain, visit the ER right away.
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
