Pain Below Sternum, Burping. Taken Vitamin Tablets. Reason?

I have had a slight niggley pain for two days that comes and goes, day or night. It is about 2 inches directly left of the bottom of my sternum. And I have been burping! a lot during this time, but it has lessened today. I took some rather large vitamin tablets a few days ago just before bedtime, and on a relatively empty stomach. Do you think this may have affected my stomach, or is it something else.

hi.. thanks for using HCM..
you are having epigastric pain, could be acid peptic disease..
multivitamins doesnot cause it, if it contains iron in it, may cause it..
take antacids like protonpump inhibitors.. stop alcohol/smoking.. reduce spicy food.. reduce stress..
if it doesnot reduce see your gastroenterologist..
all the very best..
