On Adderall, Xanax. Am Overweight, Active & Healthy. Have Anxiety Why Am I Prescribed To .5 Xanax?

I recently just got re-prescribed to adderall and I am taking 15 mg twice a day. I am also prescribed 1mg xanax xr a day along with .5 ir as needed.

To give a background I am overweight (5'11) 300lbs but still somewhat active and healthy . No other issues concerning health have arisen except the anxiety which I had been on xanax 1mg 3 times a day and wanted to get off the daily dosage but I still have panic attacks (why I am prescribed to .5 as needed).

u need to ask your doc why ur being prescribed adderall (an adhd medication) for anxietry , and why large dose of xanax is used with out giving additional ssri for long term anxiety management. alway try for cbt for anxiety along with medication .. so that in the end need for medication decreases
