On Isosorb Mono And Sleeping All The Time. Extreme Weakness In Legs. Is The Problem Due To Drug?

my 88 year old father was recently hospitalized and then released to a nursing home. He was on 90mg of Isosorb-mono and the nursing home stopped giving him this drug without the dr. permission. He is now sleeping all the time and his speech is very muddled and has extreme weakness in his legs. Could the omission of the drug so quickly have caused any of these problems?

Isosorb mono is a drug given for relief of chest pain(anti-anginal).However stoppage of this medication might not result in sleepiness.Weakness, sleepiness and muddled speech can be due to other reasons like mild stroke, heart failure which has to be correlated clinically.Discuss with your doctor.Hope this helps.Take care.
