Oily And Sensitive Skin, Acne. What Is Wrong?

i am a 25 years old girl , three months ago , my skin suddenly became oily and sensitive to heat , like if it s a bit warm in the room my face flushes but it doesn t itch ... my skin was never oily before , i had a mild case of acne since the age of 22 but right before this sudden change it cleared up completely....now after that sudden change i ve started breaking out again specially on the right cheek and chin and sometimes the forehead , i ve visited two dermatologists but it didn t help much...what brought the sudden change?

Hello dear,
thanks for the query.
You might be suffering from a condition called as rosaceae.
In this condition there occurs redness on face and other sun exposed areas.
This happens due to dilatation of blood vessels.
Although there is no permanent cure to this but symptoms can be controlled by using sun screen and mild anti inflammatory creams.
Please meet a dermatologist.
Thank you

Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Packriswamy Sambangi's  Response
Hi,
Acne can affect people of all races and all ages. It most commonly affects adolescents and young adults, although there are people in their fifties who still get acne.
Nobody is completely sure what causes acne, but it is believed to a rise in androgen levels- androgen is a type of hormone. Androgen levels rise when a human becomes an adolescent. Rising androgen levels make the oil glands under your skin grow, the enlarged gland produces more oil. Excessive sebum can break down cellular walls in your pores , causing bacteria to grow.
Girls and women with acne . tend to get it worse one or two weeks before their menstrual period arrives.
Mental stress can affect your levels of some hormones.
Moisturizing creams , lubricating lotions and all makeup that contain oil can speed up the blocking of your pores.
My advice is
Wash your face twice a day not more often. Use mild soap made especially for acne.
Do not try to burst the pimples.
Always wash your hands before touching your face. This includes before applying lotions , creams or makeup.
Take rose water and mix it with sandalwood powder. Apply the paste on your face.
