Obstruction in bladder neck and low urine flow. Why? Help?

The medical report finds that there is obstruction(three star) in my bladder neck causing low urine flow and more residual urine(100ml) in the bladder. My prostrate size is 28cc. i am advised by the Doctor for surgery, till then I am also advised for taking Veltum0.4/Urimax0.4. Is it possible for clearing the obstruction without removing the prostrate? thanks& regards, K.K.Ghosh(62yrs.).
