I found a small lump on my labia majora , more towards the outer edges, away from the labia minora . It doesn't cause any pain and doesn't itch, but it feels like there is something solid underneath the skin . This is the first time Ive ever noticed a change in this area . Any ideas what it could be?
Lumps or bumps in labia could be due to hair removal technique or minor infections like genital herpes or warts, sebaceous cyst or Fordyce spots, Bartholin's cyst etc. As there is no symptoms like itching, pain or discharge, nothing to worry about it. I advise you to: - Use body wash like benzoyl peroxide 5% prior to your hair removal techniques - A course of Antibiotics (tab. Amoxiclav 625 mg twice daily) if needed - Avoid using tampons as it may worsen your symptoms - Maintain good hygiene
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
