Neuro Surgery Patient Suffering From White Gummy Fluid Coming Out From Mouth

Neuro surgery patient suffering from white gummy fluid coming out from mouth sdhskajdasd Hi, my brother has had a major neuro surgery(syrinx operation) last May(may 2009). from last 2 months he was continuously suffering from white gummy like fluid coming out of mouth with little cough usually in the mornings and after having food. We consulted a pulmonologist and all the tests are fine. Please let me know the possible reasons why he is having this. We have a pet in our house. Is the pet reason for this? He never had this problem before the surgery and for 4 months after the surgery even though our pet is with us for all this time. Please please let me know why this is happening?

you decide yourself that pet is the problem without any evidence and you try to put blame on the surgery when he did the surgery to givbe relief from his suferings. well the whit gummy is coming from the back of th nose and ir needs to be checkewd with ENT not pulmonology, so only any problem you peopel should first present to a GP not acting by yourself and land up in a different trouble

Hi

Thank you so much for the reply. Actually am not balming my pet and surgery as well. Actually we went for a checkup last month to the doctor who had done the surgery. We explained the same problem to him. He referred us to the pulmonologist... its not our own decision and the pulmonologist said it may be because of the pet as there is no prob with any of the reports. And one more thing is little amounts of rice or whatever he eats also coming out along with this white fluid. And also one more thing..... milk or any drinks made of milk is the real threat for him now.  its coming out. So he stopped taking milk now.  Please do read this and let me know still we should consult an ENT?
