Need Analysis Of Sonography Report

hii, i have problem of delayed menses with very less bleeding , my sonography report states
right ovary -3.8*3.7*2.5 vol 19cc follicles 2.3*2.1
left ovary 3.5*3.0*2.1 vol12cc tiny follicles noted
bilarged enlarged ovary
my doc prescribe me primolut n . I also have problem of palpitation with irregular heart beat . please suggest me is the present treatment is correct

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of ultrasonography is as follows:
The bilateral ovaries are enlarged.
The left ovary shows multiple follicles and the right ovary shows a single follicle only.
Delayed menses with multiple follicles in one of the ovary can be due to polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD).
The drug prescribed is progesterone preparation.
Progesterone is used to correct the irregularities in menstrual cycle.
However, consult your gynecologist for relevant investigations to look for possibility of PCOD.
