Nasty Taste In Mouth. Had Several Injections In Stomach After Surgery. Could Injections Have Caused This?

Hi.I am home after having surgery, and I also had several injections in the tummy. However, I developed a nasty taste in my mouth that seemed to carry across into all the food and drink I tried to eat and drink.Since I have been home, this has gone.Could the injections have caused this to occur. The lady in the bed next to me had the same symptoms. It never occurred to me until I was home if this may have been the case.

hi..
you probably have metallic taste in the mouth, due to the antibiotics given to you post-operatively...
metronidazole is used very commonly for the anaerobic coverage, and it is the cause for your problem.. this will reduce over a period of time..
can take antacids for the reduction of these symptoms..
all the very best..
