My grandmother is ill. Please help!! Doctors and Nurses very appreciated!!!!!? My grandmother is 56 years old and not long ago was diagnosed with COngestive heart failure . Today around noon, she was saying she felt achy. She then decided to lay down and rest. She slept till 4:30 and when she woke up she felt warm. She had a fever of 100.1. Then at 5:50 we decided to take her blood pressure and pulse and so on. Please take a look at her blood pressure and temperature below. I want to know if we should call the doctor! Sounds viral and her vitals are fine. Her pulse is a little high because of the fever. If she doesn't feel better - her MD is the person you should call - if she aches around her heart don't delay. Her vitals should be checked every 4-6 hours - not every 90 minutes -

My wife has had open heart surgery for replacement of a mitral valve and repair a hole in her heart. She still has a 25% Injection Fraction. She has no kidneys, in dialysis, and is in cardiac rehab. She has no spleen and half a pancreas. She can only have 32 ounces of fluid per day, so she eats ice to control her fluid intake. She has swollen legs that look broken out and is now showing some blood in her stool. Can the ice contribute to the bleeding? From what I can tell, symtoms may be congestive heart failure ,but not sure. She has dialysis tomorrow, but I am concerned. BP looks normal, no fever, no coughing, no respiratory, or any other symtoms she had from before when diagnosed with congestive heart failure.

my grandmother recently just went to the hospital lastnight because of her feet/legs swelling. They had been swollen for some days now. I called this morning and she told me she had congestive heart failure. Now, they are running more tests today. My question is this. Are there stages to this or something along that line. Ive looked it up on google and know about how the body holds Xtra water and it effects your heart,And oxygen gets blocked from going threw out the bodys areas. Once youve been diagnosed, will they start treatment immed.?Will that then help your heart to start doing some repair? And help you feel better..? Any info will be apprechated. Im totally in shock about all this, But i guess its good to find out now, then her waiting and having a heart-attack of something worse happen down the line.. Thanks
