My BP Is 157/89 And Getting Out Of Breath, Please Help

my blood pressure is 157/89 and getting out of breath to quick is this anything to worry about ? sorry im 42 and ive been to the doctors thats how i found out about my blood pressure but he wants more tests first before he does anything about it

If this is your normal bp I'd say its on the high side and yes you can get out of breath. Another sign is a headache or dizziness but people with high bp sometimes never even know it until its been diagnosed. If you are checking your bp at the local walgreens on one of those machines be aware that they are not acurate at all. The best thing you can do is to have your bp checked by a doctor regularly to see if it stays high and if so they will treat you. High BP is nothing to mess with! Good luck!
