Minor Pain In Chest, Little Trouble In Breathing, Uncomfortable. History Of Tripping And Hitting A Chair On Chest. Solution?

Hi, I tripped recently and hit a chair in the chest fairly hard. It winded me at the time and it's been about fifteen minutes since then. There's some minor aching/pain in my chest but nothing serious -- I'm almost absolutely sure I haven't broken anything. I do have some trouble breathing, a little. Not so much that I have to lie down, but enough to be uncomfortable.

Do you have any tips on ways to help me breathe easier?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

I think you could be having muscular pain due to external injury.
You can take painkillers, it will reduce pain.
If pain continues, you need to get chest X-ray done for any rib fracture.
Consult your doctor for examination and management.
Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take
care.

Regards
Dr. Vidya
