Lump On Inner Right Calf Muscle, Needle Like Sensation On Foot While Pressing. Any Ideas?
I appear to have a slight lump on my inner right calf muscle. It appears to be under the skin and has no color whatsoever, just a very slight elevation. It does not hurt itself at the least, however, when I press it it shoots a tingling-needles-like sensation to my lower foot. I did not have nay injury that I can recall or trauma to hte area. I've had for abouot a year now. Can you advise? Thanks

This sort of lump may be due to dilatation of vein i.e. varicose vein .
2nd reason may be any type of tumor compressing underlying nerves so there may be tingling needled like sensation at lower part of foot.
In my opinion please consult a surgeon and get his opinion as physical examination is very important in this case.
Take treatment according to consultant.
