Hi. I am a male aged 47. While at rest or during mild exertion I experience laboured breathing and what feels like a slight closing of the throat. This sometimes accompanied by light headedness BP and pulse are normal. I take aerobic exercise 6 times per week and never experience any breathing difficulties during these activities.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might have coronary circulation problem giving rise to this problem.
Consult physician and go for EKG to rule out coronary insufficiency.
Ok and take care.
