mom is 89 has been getting little soars on her knees will open sometimes sometimes not. Early Feb. she got soars that got larger than usual and yellow pussy , infected. It's now \July and they have multiplied and are growing into one large wound covering her knee area. All swabs and biopsy has come back neg. 2 dermatologists and family doc are stumped. Has been on antibiotics went off once for a week or so and it got worse. My mom just lost her hubby and is extremely stressed and is finding it hard to deal with this knee. Have tried iv antibiotic and the nurse that has had experience with wounds thought it might be tiphos ( not sure the spelling) But if so she had never seen anything even close to this . I did take a picture but I don't see a place to download or attatch. Now another thing is that this small reddish soars she usually gets , she has been dealing with for the past about 10 years or so. Any idea's ?
