Knee Pain, Stiffness, Numb Legs, Pain In Shoulder Blade Area And Rib Cage. What Could Be This?
For a week I have had knee pain and stiffness some on and off left leg numbness. I have not fallen. Ive always been a daily walker and mild exerciser. Mild brief pain in should blade area lately.I have also had as sharp pain under my left ribcage especially while sitting in bathtub or sitting down goes away as fast as it comes. Pain subsides when I get up. More frequent lately but I've had this brief pain on and off for months. What s going on with my body?

Hello, Thanks for writing to us
The pains that you have described are likely to be due to a muscular pain. Taking mild pain killers and muscle relaxants will bring a short term relief. Regular stretching exercise will be helpful. you can do a hot fomentation and apply a local analgesic gel on the area to relieve the spasm. If you don't find any relief with the above measures, a detailed clinical examination along with appropriate investigations are needed to establish a diagnosis.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
