Knee Moved Wrong Way, Felt Dislocated, Sore During Movement. What Would Have Happened? How To Rectify?

Hey there, yesterday I moved my knee the wrong way and it locked in place, it felt dislocated. I couldn't straighten it all because of the pain. I had someone help me stand (on the good leg) and it was like the gravity pulled it out. My knee popped loud and I felt and saw it go back in place. Now today it's been sore the odd movements I do and walking on it is sore as well. Why do you think happened and what should I do? Thanks!

Hello

Thanks for writing to Healthcare magic,

I have studied your case,
ACCORDING to your history it seems that there can meniscal tear leading to bucket handle tear in meniscus causing locking knee.
For confirmation of diagnosis you can do MRI knee ,
Till time take rest , apply ice pack and take pain killer.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
