Kink Noticed In Colon. Nausea, Vomiting, Chills, Abdomen Pain During Barium Emema. What Does It Mean?

Hi A colonoscopy was done. During the prcedure a Kink was noticed in the colon Did not want to force the scope. The colonoscopy ended and a barium emema was done. Following this procedures nausea, vomiting, chills, abd. pain was experienced. A temp. was taken . Alittle above 99. What could thes symptoms indicate?

Sorry to hear about your problem. Such symptoms after a colonoscopy should be investigated immediately as they can be symptoms of a small perforation after colonoscopy. You should visit your gastroenterologist immediately and have a scan of your abdomen.
