Kicked On Head Behind Ear. Ear Ache, Pain In Jaws On Yawning. Due To Mild Concussion?

hi I was kicked in the head almost a week ago, on the right side right behind my ear. I don t remember if I blacked out or not I don t think I did, but now I keep getting an earache in my right ear and my jaw hurts when I yawn. I went to the hospital after it happened and the didn t even look at it just said it could be a mild concussion . could there be something more going on?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some ligament or muscle injury of TM joint giving rise to this problem.
Take some anti-inflammatory medicines for 2-3 days.
Do not open your mouth wide open.
Keep your fingers on the joint while yawning.
Avoid chewing hard things.
Ok and take care.
