Itchy Removal Area. What Can I Do ?

had a small mole removed and the area around the removal is itchy and blistered I recently had a small mole removed on my face by a plastic surgeon . After removal, a few stitches were put it. The area around the removal is itchy and blistered (4 days later). Is this an infection? What can I do ?

Hello, welcome to HCM. The symptoms could be due to infection of the area. You must avoid scratching it and keep it clean. You can apply betadine ointment over it and visit your doctor for further evaluation. Wish you good health.
