I Had Itchy Blistered Skin Around Mole Removal/Stitches Area, Please Suggest Remedy

I recently had a small mole removed on my face by a plastic surgeon. After removal, a few stitches were put it. The area around the removal is itchy and blistered (4 days later). Is this an infection? What can I do?

Hi!,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum,
Seems like you are getting infections if there is pustule around the areA...or it can even be an irritant dermatitis (if there is redness and itching)to some cleaning agents used during the procedure.Take an antibiotic along with a anti allergic medicine.Avoid using savlon or any harsh material...clean with normal saline.
take care,
DR.CHAWDA
