Itchy Lower Legs, Rashes Around Ankles. Ointments Not Improving Condition. Remedy?

I am a 42 year old male. Fairly healthy and active. Approximately 10 days ago my lower legs became extremely itchy. There appeared to be a slight rash in some areas around my ankles. However the rash was very faint and hardly noticeable in certain lighting. The ointments I purchased over the counter have proven ineffective.

Hi,
It seems that this rashes might be due to some insect bites like mosquitoes.
Take some anti histamin like Benadryl or cetrizine for 2-3 days.
Apply some moisturizing cream on the part.
Ok and take care.
