Itching With Redness And White Discharge From Vagina. Cause?
I m 17 years old and the inside of my labia minora itches and gets red if I scratch too much. Also, about once a day or every other day when I take a shower, I would take my washcloth and go inside my vagina (without soap) and this white dischargey stuff will come from the walls of my vagina. Sometimes when I wipe myself, it will be brown. This has been going on for weeks !
First of all, please do not insert any foreign objects inside your vagina as this towel will not be sterile enough to insert into a sensitive organ like the vagina and can easily result in an infection.
Now the symptoms you are mentioning are that of an infection clearly. This is most probably a sexually transmitted infection (if you are sexually active) or due to some form of sexual contact which is the most common mode of transmission.
I cannot comment on the type of infection without a physical examination along with a laboratory examination. For this I would request you to visit a doctor at the earliest and in the meantime abstain from all forms of sexual contact.
Hope this helped.
Best wishes.
