Itching In Hands, Arms, Legs, Anal Region At Night, Redness Surrounding. Any Ideas?
At night my hands, arms, legs, back and anal region get itchy..I scratch all over and I cant stop ..huge welts or whip looking marks raise up from under my skin. The raised irritated parts look to my husband like whip marks and sometimes are in rows or even in odd shapes like someone put a shape under my skin and it raises up white with redness surrounding it. What is going on? :(

The itching all over body particularly at night ( due to attention towards itching) may be due to ,
1 Scabies , can be confirmed by visiting a dermatologist as physical examination will find out the human itch mite Sarcoptes scabiei.
2 Pediculosis the body lice ( mainly in clothes )
3 may be due to urticaria , can be confirmed by blood examination as raised level of eosinophils find out .
So consult a dermatologist and get his opinion and treatment .
Till you can use PERMETHRINE soap for local use , personal hygiene will also be helpful.
