Itching And Burning Sensation In Anus, Diagnosed With HPV. Used Condoms. Were They Warts Or Is It HIV?

Hello I am a 31 year old gay male who is the receptive partner in my relationship. I work with HIV and STI's and personally been having itchy/burning inside and out of the anus. I had a lot of mucous in my stool along with diarrhea for about two weeks. I have just recently found out that my partner was diagnosed with HPV. Although we use condoms they have broke without my knowledge leaving me in contact with the semen. My partner had to have some mass removed from the inside of his anus. I am concerned they were warts but he states it was HPV the kind that causes cancer. His doctor of course can not release information due to confidentiality. So what could it be and what should I do as I said I work With HIV and STI's so I know there IS NO TEST for men. What can I do and what could this be? Please help

Hi,
Please note that not all HPV (human Papilloma Virus) causes cancer. There are very few among all. And if it was the one that causes cancer then please understand that HPV infection if treated in early stages will not lead to cancer. There is a well proven treatment available for HPV infections. Please get a cytological test done for HPV and a HIV testy done to reduce further progression if there would be any.
