Is Urinary Retention A Matter Of Medical Emergency?

Hello! I have a BLADDER INFECTION AND HAVE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 3 weeks. I usually up the cranberry juice as I get them off and on. The past couple of days, usually later in the day, I am running a fever and the one night I couple not get warm for a couple hours. Shower, heat blanket...nothing warmed me up. It was so bad, my teeth were chattering and my arms were turning purple. I have thrown up that night as well. But now just nauseous. I am always tired and don t sleep at night, but I also suffer from hypothyroidism. I am peeing, but still feels like I am not emptying my bladder. Is this something I can wait to go to my doctor appointment at n a week or should I go to a walk in or emergency?
