is there any cure for diabetic nephropathy ie diabetes and high creatinine and urea levels and low haemoglobin.my father is 67 year old and having hypertension and diabetes for almost 20 years. for the last one month the problem aggravated and he is very weak now.
Dear sir i can understand your concern i am very sorry about the condition of your father. Diabetes nephropathy is a late complication in diabetes, As you mentioned that creatine and urea values are high which s showing that kidney is not working properly. Dialysis is the best option until he find a better match for transplantation. Hope I was able to help you. If you have any further question fell free to write me back.I will be happy to help. Take care. Best Regards. Dr Vamsi Krishna Consultant Diabetologist Apollo Hospitals
