Is There Any Possibility Of Heart Related Diseases After The Gall Bladder Surgery ?

I have been experiencing an issue for close to two months, I'll try to detail it as much as possible chronologically - hopefully you can give me some advice on what to try next.

Sept. 26 - Gallbladder removed
(took it very easy for next month taking short walks several times a day per doctors orders.)

Sept. 20 - did a short hike to get a little more active - no issues

Sept. 27 - short hike - no issues

Nov. 2 - 9 mile hike - very slow moderate hike - no issues

Nov. 5 - Woke up extremely dizzy with a headache and fast heart beat and a little pain under my right rib cage on the side (pain that was going away after gallbladder surgery - but now back). Dizziness was pretty much constant

Nov. 7 - Went to DR. - they thought it was an ear infection due to fluid build-up in left ear (no meds prescribed) Blood pressure was 142/90 (normal for me just a few days earlier was 110/70)

Nov. 12 - Went back to DR., same symptoms with a feeling of sickness in chest (not pain - more like a flu feeling). They did EKG (showed ok) & Ordered Blood tests. The chest discomfort seems to be center sternum and maybe a little on right side of chest. Never have any problems breathing.

(Dizziness much better - headache still constant but not as bad)

Nov. 25 - Went back to DR. told them that a few days earlier I was feeling ok, then carried some things to my car and started feeling very bad (chest discomfort / headache). Told them that was considering going to the hospital - but sat down ate some ice cream and started feeling better. They looked at blood tests - everything was clean except my blood sugar was on the lowest end of normal. They had me change my diet to spread out more complex proteins thinking i was experiencing hypoglycemia.

Dec. 6 - Back to Dr., while things have been a little better - still had chest discomfort (occasional sick feeling in chest), headache, fast & hard heartbeat that would last for a few hours. They set up a appt to talk with a Cardiologist on Dec 28.

Dec. 17 - Was able to get in with a different Cardiologist, did EKG reviewed stress test/ekg from 1 1/2 years ago (went to hospital with fast heart beat - did ekg/labs/stress test everything was fine) and said everything looked fine. Blood pressure (as with all previous visits) was still around 145/90. He prescribed DILTIAZEM as a trail. He didn't feel as though there were any heart/blockage issues, He thought esophagus might be a potential issue.

(after taking meds - fast/hard heart beat not happening as often - sick feeling not as constant or as bad but still there)

Dec. 28 - Met with Cardiologist what I was originally scheduled to see - after repeating what previous doctors had did he felt comfortable that it was not heart and likely something gastro related. He ordered a "Calcium" test to check on plaque to be safe. Dizziness really only occurs now when I lay down AND close my eyes - but only for a split second. However I do get a little light headedness from time to time.

Dec. 29 - Had my latest episode with the headache sick feeling in chest, lasted a few hours - felt a little weak but not tired as all. Ate a ice cream - felt slightly better but still experiencing the feeling

My questions are:
1. Is it possible that after 1 1/2 months after gall bladder surgery that a clot dislodged after my 10 mile hike?
2. What would you recommend as the best option to rule out heart / blockage / clot issues. Does it make sense that my blood pressure would jump 30 points overnight if there is no block or clot?
3. Any blood tests that you would recommend to check on heart, esophagus, liver, intestines, virus or something else? Starting to wonder if its a virus that wasn't caught in normal labs

Family History:
Dad - high blood pressure
mom - diabetes, thyroid issues
Siblings - Sister has diabetes
me - other than the gallbladder have not had any medical issues - rarely even get colds. I do not smoke, rarely drink and exercise 2-3 times a week (before this - haven't exercised since this began). I haven't had coffee since this began and no soft drinks in 5 months. I am 5' 9 1/2" and 218lbs

Symptoms Breakdown (not chronological): chest discomfort, flutters, fast & heavy heart beat, high blood pressure, headache, dizziness, occasional stuffy ears, occasional vision fluctuations, occasional numbness in right arm, occasional light headedness, some back pain (upper right shoulder blade - but that could be because i stopped sleeping in my bed and now sleep in the recliner to get a better angle). I usual feel the chest discomfort all the time but not normally sick - when the sick feeling comes on it will last at least a couple of hours and the headache (which is also constant) is much worse

Hello
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Question no .1 Clot may detach from operation .
2 To rule out heart disease get in ANGIOGRAPHY and color doppler of heart .
3 Upper G I endoscopy is very important in your case as you may be a patient of peptic ulcer disease or hiatus hernia. Also get in M R I of liver as you were operated for gallbladder so this is very important .
As in you family there is diabetes and also heart disease ( your father as hypertensive ) so get in HBA1 C .
Hope this information will be helpful for you .
Further any question I will help.
Good luck.Dr. HET
