my hasband his 83 , he is a diabetic but his sugar runs around 90 to 105, his ldl was 113 , should he be put on cholesterol med, I have high ldl and my hdl is 173. my ldl is 201, I have been on cholesterol pills for years and I don t understand why the dr want to put my husband on cholesterol pills. people are now suying lipotor for taken the pill and causes diabities
