Is There A Possibility Of Getting AIDS By Using The Spoon Of An AIDS Infected Person?

My sister has aids not HIV & yesterday we went out to eat .. We were all sharing a cake with different spoons but I think my daughter might have picked up her spoon and used it and my daughter had a cut on her lips .. Can she get aids ?? Iam so worried please help ??!!!

It is extremely unlikely that your daughter can get AIDS from this kind of encounter. For this to happen, your sister would have had to leave blood from her mouth on the spoon and your daughter to have directly put it in her mouth. Even with that scenario, the chances of the virus being transmitted that way are very small. There is no reason to be so worried.
