Is There A Medication Which Doesn T Contain Hydrochlorothiazide And Amiloride??

my doctor stopped my medication lisinopril had a bad reaction hydrochlorothiazide & amiloride I was on it for 30 years also on atenenol he put me on amiodipine now I m retaking flu & swollen feet from amiodipine is there a water pill not containing hydrochlorothiazide & amiloride confused

Hello,

I have seen the details given. Pleas understand Amlodipine does cause swelling in lower limbs (dependent edema) that is a known side effect of that drug. You may use a drug like Lasix (Furosemide) 40 mg once a day early morning which will help in reducing the swelling.

However, if Amlodipine is continued the same issue will occur again. So you may ask your physician if Cilnidipine can be used which has good hypotensive effect but no side effect like causing swelling of lower limbs.
