Based upon what you have described, you are unlikely to have a severe heart problem. Your doctor's recommendation suggests that he or she is more concerned for stress than a severe physical ailment. That is good news. However, should symptoms fail to resolve, you should follow up to see if further testing will be helpful.

Hello and thank you for using HCM. I carefully read your question and i understand your concern. You should not worry.

Someone might experience fast heart beats from different reasons. It may be a sinus tachycardia meaning that the heart beats over 100 beat for minute. Its normal rate in resting state is between 60-100/min. A sinus tachycardia might happen for different reasons from simple emotional stress to different pathologyes like anemia, hyperthyroidism.
You are at very young age and heart problems are very rare. In fact, a fast heart rate at your age doesn't mean that you have a pathology or a problem with your heart so don't worry. This might be quite normal.
In fact, your doctor has described you a medication against anxiety like alprax. That is not a medication for fast heart beats or hypertension. It helps you to reduce emotional stress, anxiety and in this way it lowers your heart frequency and your blood pressure.
As you have seen good results with this, we are sure that this high frequencies are just from an emotional situation.
If i was your treating doctor, i would recommend you some simple examination like a blood sample, electrocardiogram, echo-cardiography just to be sure.
I recommend you to avoid caffeine products and start physical exercise training because it lowers your frequencies. And than you dont have to use alprax any more to not create dependence from it.
Hope I was helpful. Best regards.
