Is The Absolute Monocytes Count Of 184 A Cause Of Worry?

Should I be concerned with my absolute monocytes count of 184 for the pass two years? I did have anemia for 7 or 8 years but for the pass two years I have not taken any iron pills because I am premenopausal. I am 60 years old in good health exercise everyday.

Hi, thanks for sharing your health concerns with HCM!

If I were your physician I would like to tell you that this is within normal limits and nothing to worry about this! Still, I would like to hear the Total WBC count in your blood...

Normal range for adults is 200 to 900 but the relative number of lymphocyte is also to be evaluated!

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
